Teresa Wilhelmi

Teresa Wilhelmi began improvising music when she was a young girl in Southern Oregon. She now lives in Portland with her husband Bill. Her keyboard arrangements have appeared in dozens of books from many publishers, and she has done other composing and producing as well.

A church musician, one of Teresa's favorite things to do is improvise with other musicians, a process she describes as "chasing each other's inventions and interweaving a web of support and added musical color. It is magic. The sum is always so much better and more fun than a single solo."

Besides her musical activities, Teresa paints abstracts and makes all sorts of art including mixed media books for her grandchildren. She loves to garden and explore the incredible beauty in Oregon from the Columbia River Gorge to the wild coast.
